Sales Engineer [m/f/d] / Technical Sales in Field Service#
As a Sales Engineer, you will work with a broad customer base from various industries. These include well-known companies in the chemical and petrochemical industry, refineries, energy suppliers and hydrogen producers as well as companies from the pipeline and plant construction sector, assembly companies, planning and engineering offices.
Your tasks - You take responsibility for it
Within your sales territory, you will be responsible for expanding our market position and building new customer relationships for profitable, long-term growth. You will represent and position IDT as an innovative solution provider and reliable partner - both for standard needs and individual requirements. You live and breathe customer relationship management, from acquisition to technical consulting and project initiation through to after-sales support. For you, this also includes translating customer requirements into technical concepts and solutions in close cooperation with our sales team and production engineering. Communication and interdisciplinary cooperation are the keys to your success.
Your profile - What sets you apart
- Completed training in the technical and commercial field with an additional qualification [e.g. state-certified technician, business administration or technical degree].
- First professional experience in technical sales, ideally as a sales engineer or key account manager.
- Business fluent communication in German and English [other foreign languages an advantage].
- Enthusiasm for the sale of technically sophisticated products, a sales-oriented approach, flexibility and a self-confident manner.
- Analytical thinking, a sense of responsibility and a solution-oriented and independent way of working.
- Experience in project management and enjoy working in a team.
- Confident handling of M365 applications and common software tools.
- Willingness to travel at home and abroad.
