With precision: PFA composite components for critical applications
The combination of fluorothermoplastics and metal provides reliable corrosion protection for aggressive media, which are mainly used in production processes in the chemical industry.
We manufacture complex composite parts made of PFA and metal with precision and technical expertise for precisely these applications. We develop other material combinations in close cooperation with our customers.
PFA is characterized by a PTFE-like molecular structure with almost universal chemical resistance. Modified PTFE and PFA have hardly any significant differences in terms of their material properties. Due to its high PPVE content [comonomer content], PFA can be processed thermoplastically, unlike modified PTFE. On the process side, we specialize in transfer moulding, which is particularly suitable for small batches compared to injection moulding. Our portfolio currently includes tube plates, valve seats, composite tube sheets and base plates as well as customer-specific special components. The connecting element here is the coating of a metallic core with the fluoropolymer PFA.
