Expoquimia and MEORGA: Two Events, One Industry Focus
This June, IDT will be exhibiting at both Expoquimia in Barcelona and MEORGA in Halle (Saale).
While the two events differ significantly in size, audience, and international reach, they reflect many of the same challenges currently shaping the process industry.
Emissions reduction, plant reliability, regulatory requirements, and operational safety are increasingly being considered together. As a result, sealing technology is no longer viewed as an isolated component, but as part of a broader system that influences overall plant performance.
Meet Us in Barcelona or Halle
Whether at an international trade fair or a regional industry event, both exhibitions highlight how closely sealing technology is connected to emissions reduction, plant safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
We look forward to speaking with operators, engineers, planners, and maintenance teams about the challenges they are facing in day-to-day plant operations.
Expoquimia 2026
Expoquimia brings together operators, engineers, and maintenance specialists from across the international chemical industry.
Many discussions this year are expected to focus on low-emission operation and the implications of the European Industrial Emissions Directive (IED 2.0). Emissions from flanged connections, valves, and sealing systems continue to receive increasing attention as operators work to meet both environmental and operational objectives.
In practice, low-emission performance depends on more than product selection alone. Engineering, assembly quality, operational practices, and sealing technology all play a role in achieving long-term results. This system-wide perspective is shaping investment decisions, maintenance strategies, and reliability programs across the process industries worldwide.
MEORGA Halle 2026
MEORGA is a well-established meeting point for operators, planners, engineers, and maintenance specialists from the process industry. For IDT, the event provides an opportunity to connect directly with companies from Germany's central chemical region and discuss current challenges related to sealing technology, plant reliability, and emissions reduction.
At 3:00 PM, our Technical Director, Jörg Skoda, will present a technical talk: "Reducing Emissions: Sealing Technology for Environmentally Responsible Process Plants". The presentation will cover current requirements related to TA Luft, DIN EN ISO 15848, and evolving PFAS regulations, as well as the role modern sealing systems can play in reducing emissions and supporting long-term plant performance.
As the only gasket manufacturer exhibiting at MEORGA Halle, we particularly look forward to direct discussions with operators, planners, and maintenance teams from the region.
