Global Supply Chains, Local Support: IDT Strengthens International Partnerships
Product quality and availability still matter. But for many operators, OEMs, and distributors working across international markets, they’re no longer enough.
When projects involve multiple countries, contractors, and supply chains, local contacts, technical support, and reliable communication often become just as important as the product itself.
That’s one reason we’ve continued to expand our international partner network and strengthen regional support structures in key industrial markets.
Expanding Collaboration in Scandinavia
We’ve worked with Steffca A/S for years. This spring, we brought our teams together in Denmark for a two-day workshop focused on product training, technical exchange, and future collaboration.
The workshop also led to a sales agreement covering the Scandinavian market, with a particular focus on refinery and process industry customers in Denmark and Sweden.
Steffca recently expanded its regional presence through the acquisition of SealSupply A/S, adding a production and distribution facility in Nyborg. Together, this provides a stronger foundation for local customer support across the region.
When a customer has a technical question or needs support during a project, they don’t want to wait for someone on the other side of the world to get back to them. That’s why local contacts and strong regional partners are becoming increasingly important.
New Partnership in South Korea
We’ve brought on Jinsan Commercial Co., Ltd. as our sales partner in South Korea, further expanding our presence in a market with a strong refinery and petrochemical industry.
Demand for low-emission sealing solutions continues to grow, alongside increasing attention to standards such as ISO 15848, API 622, API 624, and API 641.
We’re also in discussions with potential partners in other international markets. At the same time, we’re seeing growing interest from OEMs, particularly valve manufacturers that need to document low-emission sealing performance to support customer approvals and compliance requirements.
