Philipp Leiding assumes sales leadership for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at IDT

IDT is reshaping its sales organization in the German-speaking region. Since the beginning of the year, Philipp Leiding has taken on the newly created role of Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).

The new setup is designed to bring customers and markets closer together while sharpening IDT’s strategic focus across the DACH region.

Philipp Leiding, 34, has been part of IDT since 2013 and has grown steadily within the sales organization. Most recently, he led regional sales activities before stepping into responsibility for the entire DACH region at the start of this year.

Instead of separate regional structures, sales is now brought together in one role. This supports a customer-first approach with clearer alignment, quicker responses, and a consistent presence across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The adjustment is also part of a consciously managed transition. Wolfgang Schmid, the long-standing Managing Director who has shaped the group’s sales organization for many years, is currently supporting the change in an advisory role and will retire from active service mid-year.
