- This shield design consists of a steel band and an inner layer of steel mesh that is pressed against the flange itself. This mesh, corrugated in the middle to fill the gap between the two flange surfaces, is crucial. It distributes the spray jet quickly and efficiently, ensuring safe droplet delivery. All of our shields are tested in our hydrostatic pressure testing facility. Test certificates are available upon request.
- The inner mesh is pressed against the flange and prevents direct side splashing. The fluid pressure inside disperses quickly, resulting in safe drop delivery.
- The splash guard is quick to install and is typically used on high pressure pipelines. It is ideal for steam/oil applications and has been leak tested at pressures up to 110 bar. In the event of a leak, it can be reused, providing a long-term solution.
