The PTFE envelope is made of TFM™ 1600 with an inner diffusion barrier (3 mm wide), a corrugated ring (1.4571) and two fibre inserts in (each 2 mm thick). The seal features high resilience and is recommended by leading enamel flange manufacturers from DN 250 upwards; it is however available in all nominal widths.
TFM™ is a modified PTFE [mPTFE]. This material is still part of our portfolio. Alternatively, we process mPTFE such as INOFLON® M295 or DAIKIN® MG3 MOD-FF/HD.
