This gland packing is made of braided, patented multi-purpose graphite fiber to provide excellent cross-sectional density in temperature cycles and extremely low leakage rates. The packing set features low gap extrusion, low cold flow tendency and very low friction coefficients. The preferred use of the packing is in standard and control fittings in the chemical and petrochemical industry, process technology and refineries.
