Climate strategy turns SMEs into sustainable, climate-neutral enterprises [SCE]

News · · ·

Europe aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. To succeed, converting power generation to renewable energies won’t be enough. Mobility, heat generation and industrial processes have to become CO₂-neutral.

As “avoidable emissions technologies”, our products address Scope 4 emissions and help our customers reduce their carbon footprint.

However, experts and international organizations largely agree that climate neutrality cannot be achieved by individual actors, but only through collective efforts.

That is why we also see it as our responsibility to provide transparency regarding our carbon footprint and to develop a climate strategy that will make us a Sustainable and Climate-Neutral Enterprise in the future. To this end, we have recently sought the support of Limón, a leading solution provider for energy efficiency, energy management, climate management and sustainability. energy efficiency, energy management, climate management and sustainability.

In collaboration with Limón, our climate strategy will be developed on a sound accounting basis – including, for example, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol [GHG] or DIN EN ISO 14064-1. In doing so, organizational and reporting thresholds are set, our emission sources [Scope 1, 2 and 3] are recorded and a complete greenhouse gas balance is created. The action plan includes clear targets for reducing greenhouse gases as well as technical and economic feasibility assessments.

It is evident to us that consistently reducing our emissions not only contributes to sustainability, but also makes us a reliable development partner for our customers when it comes to innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.
