IDT wins Valve Star Award

We are Valve Stars! Today, IDT's LE-SAFE butterfly valve seal won the Valve Star Award in the sealing category. In these high-performance gaskets, the metallic carriers are bonded to the graphite components without adhesive. Adhesives are not only critical with regard to sustainability , but also in terms of their hazardous potential in critical applications. In oxygen-carrying plant components, adhesives carry the risk of unexpected fires due to spontaneous combustion. Here, adhesive-free LE-SAFE gaskets offer safety, optimum functionality and tightness. The award was presented at the Valve World Expo in Düsseldorf. A great award for our R&D team. Thank you!
